USER DATA DELETION

You have the right to request the deletion of personal data Dirty Astronauts holds about you. This page explains what we can delete, what must be kept, and how to submit a request.
1. What We Can Delete
Upon request, we can remove:
- Your customer account
- Email address and marketing subscriptions
- Order history (as long as financial records remain intact)
- Support messages
- Analytics data tied to your identity
2. What Cannot Be Deleted (Legal Requirements)
We must retain certain data for 7 years, including:
- Invoices and transaction records
- Tax and accounting information
- Fraud-prevention logs
- System backups that cannot be edited individually
This is required by UK law.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion by emailing:

- Your name
- The email used for purchases
- Your request (e.g., “Please delete all personal data associated with my account.”)
We will respond within 48 hours.
4. Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify:
- Your identity
- Your email address
- Order number (if relevant)
5. Timeframe
- All eligible data will be deleted within 30 days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once complete.
